I only have one gig left in 2007 (12/31 with Hot Buttered Soul @ Canyon Creek Sherway Gardens), so now’s the time to recognize and say thanks to all the wonderful musicians I had the opportunity to make music with this year on gigs, in workshops and informal jams.

2007 was another year with lots of work that came my way, and for that I am very humbled and thankful.

gig in Toronto TOMORROW NIGHT

December 19, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Hello!

Happy Holidaze from mine to yours, and thanks for hanging in with me for another year. If I didn’t play a gig your neighbourhood in 2007, let me know about it and I’ll do my best to correct that in 2008. Better yet, offer me a gig! :)

Tomorrow night cc3 hits for a night of firsts and lasts:

1. The first cc3 gig @ The Gladstone Hotel*

2. The last cc3 gig of 2007**

3. The first cc3 gig for Simeon Abbott.

* There was to be a cc3 record release gig @ the Gladstone this past March, but it got derailed and turned into a CPZ+Mike Pelletier show instead. It was still a great gig, but as a result tomorrow is the official cc3 debut @ The Gladstone.

** cc3 performed around 70 gigs in 2007. A pretty respectable number considering we stayed within a 100km range of Toronto.

I’m excited to be welcoming Simeon Abbott (keys) into the band, and hope to have him around a lot in 2008. Tomorrow night is me, Simeon and Colin Campbell on guitar. That lineup hits again January 10 @ the Gladstone too.

cc3 12/20
