where have I been?

I bought a 30GB video iPod late last week, so I’ve been burying my nose in that instead of blogging. Gigging is still strong and steady, please consult the homepage for the where and the when, or turn off the computer and go outside.

another update

… I’m subbing in (and playing with for the first time) the Nomads this weekend. Also, remember how I wasn’t going to be in Moon Violet anymore? Well, sorta. One of my regular clients is looking for a rock band to play an event, and Moon Violet is perfect for it, soooooooooooo, I have booked Moon Violet (with me on drums) to play this gig. I’m not sure if that constitutes me buying my way (at least temporarily) back into the band, but Lee M. seems unfazed by it all. Only in the music business….

Hello!

Sorry for the lack of posts, I’ve been busy gigging (lotsa work, it’s nice) and making time for family and friends. It feels like summer is coming to an end already, wow. I’ll post a few items this week, but coming up are lots of cc3 dates (tues.wed.thurs every week in July), a few Hot Buttered Soul events, more subbing-in with Groove Matrix, a week of teaching drumming to 5-to-9 year-olds, a few dance classes at TDT, and a solodrums performance live on CKLN FM radio late one Sunday night.

Also, for those that follow these things, it appears our hero (me) is losing a gig or two as well. My general busyness in business limits the amount of rehearsal time I have for some projects, and as such my involvement in upcoming Moon Violet events is in jeopardy. Never say never, but don’t be surprised if there’s a new drummer rockin’ out with the Lee-man at the next Moon Violet gig.
